What We Did This Week

I'm running out of creative titled for our weekly blogs so I decided to keep it simple this week. This was the first week we didn't have swim lessons to go to. It made it a little easier to get to art class, less of a rush. We made noisemakers, crowns and little beach/oceans scenes. The kids ended the class by playing in some containers of sand. Austin liked it, but didn't like getting the sand on him.

We are getting towards the end of art class. We will miss one week because of being up on vacation and then his last class I have training, so hopefully Grandma Barb can take him. I'm really glad we did this class he had so much fun.

Speaking of, this time next week we will be up in Show Low in a cabin. Thank goodness, I am so ready to have a change in scenery.

Happy Birthday, America!

We celebrated the 4th of July with my parents, Andy, Cassandra and the kids. We had some fire works, swimming, hot dogs, and more fire works. The "boys" really enjoyed blowing things up, even though some may not have been the most legal ever.

Knock, Knock!
Well we have two more swim lessons left this summer and then we have about a week of a break. We're heading back up to the Show Low area on the 19th for about five days with the Smith family again. I'm looking forward to it. We're staying in a new cabin and it looks a lot of fun.

Mid Week Wrap Up

I cannot believe it is already July! Wow, half way over for the year. I must mention right now, because I forgot to everywhere else, that little Miss Snickers had her 6th birthday on Monday. Happy birthday my beautiful kitty.

Monday we once again did swim lessons and art class. At art class we made collages with frosting and other edible things (yum). Austin liked to eat the M & Ms mostly. We also did roller painting that he REALLY enjoyed. He also got super excited to sing and dance for the class during the Hokey Pokey.

Cool Whip!

Didn't even mean to make it patriotic!

Austin's new thing is bubbles. He LOVES playing with bubbles. So do Max and Molly!

To prep for the 4th, Austin had to help daddy prep the poppers to make sure they work. It was cute so cute watching him throw the snappers on the ground. He did a pretty good job getting some of the bigger ones to pop.

Smoke Bombs

Can't wait until tomorrow! It is supposed to rain, but I am sure we will make the best of it. I love you little boy. Two more months until you are two! Did I just do that math correctly?
