My First Mother's Day

Today was my first Mother's Day as a human mom. Over the years the dogs have always been my babies that we celebrated the day for. :-) I didn't think it would hit me emotionally as much as it did. Ryan did a great job with the help of the crew. It was so very cute, the card I got had each of the "kids" sign it. Austin said I was the best mom ever, Max and Molly said they were in on it, like normal, Snickers claimed it was all her idea. :-)

I love my family so much. Every once in awhile I have moments of, "Oh my Gosh, I'm a mom." Today was truely one of those days.

I'm so blessed for the family I have. I have the most wonderful son, husband, and crew of animals. Also, I have the best mom ever! I want to wish everybody a happy Mother's Day! Thanks again my handsome son! Mommy loves you more than words can describe.

April 30th we took Austin to his second baseball game. He went to his first when he was three weeks old! He was a little bigger now and enjoyed the sights and sounds this time around.

The Easter Bunny Came!

Austin's first Easter was this year. It was a great day. The EB came bright and early and brought some great things! It was so cute seeing him pick up and inspect the eggs. We went to my aunt and uncle's house in Peoria in the afternoon then to Cassandra's parent's house at night. Nothing like good food, good friends, food family, and good times. I can't wait until he is older and can actually do an egg hunt.

Calleigh's Birthday and Easter Bunny

Wow! What a busy weekend we had!! Saturday Austin's cousin Calleigh had her birthday party. She turned two last Friday. Then on Sunday, we went to Bass Pro Shop so Austin could see the Easter bunny!

Picture Day!

I finally got around to asking a friend of ours to come take some pictures of Austin. He's 7 1/2 months old and we have no "frame able" pictures of him. Adam did a GREAT job! I know he says that he isn't a pro, but the pictures look great and I can't wait to get a few framed.

Austin was very well behaved. He got to play with things while we took pictures. We even did an outfit change!

One of my favorites. I love him so much!

On December 13th, 2008, Ryan and I took a picture right here as new husband and wife.

Happy Birthday, Cassandra!!

We took some time to celebrate Cassandra's birthday on Saturday. It was a few days after her birthday, but it was fun getting together with the family. Calleigh was very excited about seeing Austin. She even would go sit down on the blanket and wait for Austin. It was all fine and dandy until Austin started picking on her. Poor girl sure has some tough years ahead of her.
